WELCOME TO APPLETREE COTTAGE
Appletree Cottage is a unique and very comfortable B & B where you will receive a warm welcome with complimentary tea on arrival, The house, which was converted from two 19th century farmers' cottages, is set in an attractive, peaceful hilltop position with superb views over farmland and woodland in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden and includes an ancient woodland with primroses, bluebells and wood anemone in spring. There is easy access to fine walking country and other outdoor pursuits, such as golf, riding and fishing. The nearest pub is within walking distance, where you will get a good meal. There is a good choice of other pubs and restaurants in the area, which the owners are happy to book for you in advance.
ACCOMMODATION
All rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. The accommodation consists of two double rooms with private or shared bathroom and twin en-suite, all with comfortable beds and crisp, white sheets.
Facilities in the bedrooms include hairdryer, radio, hostess tray with selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh milk and shortbread. Guests have the use of a comfortable, pannelled sitting room with log fire and television and are welcome to use the garden and woodland. There is free computer facility in most rooms.
BREAKFAST
You will receive a full English breakfast of locally sourced bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes and free range eggs from the owner's chickens, fresh fruit juice, seasonal fruit and local yoghurts, a selection of cereals and home-baked bread with home made marmalade and jam.
